Jason Kaiser stops by to talk about two lifelong passions, Jeeps and punk rock. His obsession with Jeeps began at the age of 4 after seeing his first one, and it only grew stronger when he got behind the wheel of his first ride a well worn 79 CJ7 that took plenty of abuse. He recollects his early experience with punk rock and his first local shows. Jason talks about his bands Juniper Drive, Refined, and Duck Dodgers. And we reminisce about his legendary house parties where MXPX played. After nearly 20 years away from performing Jason is dusting off the bass and rediscovering his love for punk.

Guitarist Kade Joblinski & drummer Logan Geiger of Harsh Light come in to promote their upcoming album release Picture This! Kade still maintains his first car a 2004 Chevy 210 while Logan drove his first car a Ford Escape into the ground. The band talks about their writing and recording process. I hung out with Noah Schafer and Tom Hill from our old crust punk band Toxic Shock Syndrome for a conversation we recorded back in February. We spent some time remembering our former vocalist Josh Nordwall who passed away in 2006. I know we mentioned he was maybe 6'4" but no the dude was a towering 6' 7"! We look back on the early days of our first band Sugar & Spikes, how TSS got its start, share a few stories from the road, and revisit some of the chaotic dumb shenanigans that happened along the way. The reunion show for Toxic Shock Syndrome will be on August 15th at The Eclipse in Bismarck,ND as part of the Hardcore Homecoming Fest.

Holly Duffy the voice for 2 Blind Mice and DDS comes by to talk about her first car a 1962 Studebaker Lark and reflects on the good old days of dirt roads and small towns. We char about life choices that send us down different paths, friends that last, and ones you have to leave behind. We talk about her inspirations to pursue music tech and working with musicians in Minneapolis. She talks about the loneliness of touring and chaos of being in a rock band. Greta Sandel joins me to share her beginnings starting with her first car a 67 Chevy truck and her deep roots in the local arts scene. We reminisce about the early days at Screaming Bean and Green Earth Cafe, as well as her fathers time in the band Fire and Shame. Greta began acting at just nine years old with Dakota Stage and discovered her passion for theater and dance. Since then she's done acting, dance, improv, choreography, ballet, sketch comedy, and costume work. We also talk about her standout performance in Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson, her experiences working in Chicago, and her insight into the world of theater.
